Considering the ongoing situation in the Middle East, and with uncertainty remaining around when full flight operations will resume, we believe it is both proactive and part of our duty of care as your operator partner to begin reviewing alternative inbound arrangements for affected passengers.
As a precautionary measure, we are currently assessing and securing alternative options for passengers travelling inbound to the UK via the Middle East up to 31 March. Where necessary, this may involve arranging return flights to the UK on alternative carriers or via different routings, as close to the original travel dates as possible. These arrangements will be prioritised in date order, and our dedicated team will be in touch to discuss possible alternatives.
We kindly ask for your patience while this process is underway. Airspace restrictions and closures across the Middle East remain significant. While the UAE has opened a small number of tightly controlled routing corridors from Dubai and Abu Dhabi and we hope other carriers will follow soon, this currently allows for only a very limited number of flights to depart the region.
