Days 1 - 2

Famous for its exquisite temples, serene gardens, historic tea gardens and elegant geishas, Kyoto has a timeless charm unlike anywhere else in the world. Discover its beautiful sights and authentic culture or opt to explore the landscape and landmarks in nearby Osaka, Arashiyama or Nara.
Day 7
Visitors to the small, friendly city of Kochi on Shikoku’s southern coast can look forward to a warm welcome. Make sure to enjoy some Katsuo no tataki, Kochi's most famous dish, and visit the temple and botanical garden at Mount Godaisan.
Day 8
Hiroshima, a city marked by its tragic history, stands today as a beacon of peace and resilience. Take a moment to reflect at the Peace Memorial Park and see the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that marks the epicentre of the blast. Other excursion options include visiting the Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, with its red archway appearing to float on the water.
Day 9
Enjoy some time to relax and recharge onboard. Lounge by the pool, book into the spa or browse the ship’s European-inspired piazza with its modern boutiques and glittering jewellery stores.
Day 10
It is Busan's state-of-the-art trading port and strategic position along key shipping routes that has contributed to its international reputation, but with lovely sea vistas, tranquil temples and a bustling seafood market, it’s also a charming place to unwind.

Maintain your fitness regime on the jogging track or join a class at the gym, then reward yourself with a tipple at The Martini Bar and a sumptuous dinner at the ship’s airy main restaurant with its mouthwatering daily changing menu.
Day 12
Your next stop is best known for the mesmerising views over the city from Mount Hakodate and its exquisite fresh seafood. Pick your favourite dishes off the conveyor belt at a Kaiten-sushi lunch!
Day 13
Nature and ancient culture abound in Aomori at the northern tip of Honshu. Recharge your mind and spirit in the UNESCO-listed Shirakami-Sanchi forest or visit the spectacular Seiry_-ji Temple, home to Japan's largest seated Buddha. Visit Nebuta House, where you can see award-winning floats from the Nebuta Festival, one of Japan’s most famous annual celebrations.
Day 14
A last day at sea offers the chance to relax and make the most of the fantastic facilities onboard.
Day 15 - 16
Arrive in Tokyo in the early hours of the morning. Disembark and check in to your post-cruise hotel, where you’ll stay for two nights.
Day 17
Your Japanese journey comes to a sad end today as you make your way to the airport for your flight home.
