Days 1 - 3
Arrive in the laidback city of Darwin and check into Mindil Beach Casino and Resort. Two nights at this beachfront hotel allows you to unwind and ease into your adventure, as well as discover the many attractions of this tropical city. On day three, embark on Silversea’s Silver Cloud.
Day 4
The first stop on your cruise is Koolama Bay. From here, you can travel by Zodiac to reach King George Falls, one of the Kimberley’s most impressive natural wonders. Spot saltwater crocodiles and other native wildlife on your way to the pair of towering twin cascades, which stand among the highest in Australia.
Day 5
Dock at Vansittart Bay (Jar Island). A beach landing and short hike at Vansittart Bay offer you the chance to see ancient rock art and a relic of a World War II aeroplane.
Day 6
Arrive at the Hunter River, the gateway to the Kimberleys. At the mouth of the river, Naturalist Island’s sandy beach is an ideal landing site for helicopters, allowing visitors to explore the area’s vast interior and one of the region’s most famous attractions, Mitchell Falls, where four tiers of waterfalls surrounded by rugged cliffs look especially impressive from the air.
Day 7
Today you will visit Freshwater Cove and Montgomery Reef. Soak up the breathtaking scenery at Freshwater Cove while enjoying a warm welcome from your Aboriginal guides. See the rock paintings in Cyclone Cave or opt for a more sedate exploration of the beautiful surroundings. Later, experience the natural spectacle of Montgomery Reef, where an amazing semi-submerged world is revealed at low tide.
Day 8
As you cruise back towards Darwin, relax on board your luxurious vessel. Enjoy downtime on the pool deck or unwind during an indulgent spa treatment.
Day 9
Spend the day in Darwin soaking up its relaxed ambience and multicultural vibe.
Day 10
Today is another day at sea. Gaze out at the horizon through the panoramic windows in the Observation Lounge. Then sip a drink in Dolce Vita Bar before choosing which of the ship’s exceptional restaurants to dine in tonight.
Day 11
Dock on the western tip of Timor Island in Indonesia. A visit to the village of Baun offers a fascinating introduction to traditional Timorese culture. Then experience authentic island life on Pulau Semau, an undeveloped paradise of pristine white sand and lush coconut groves ringed by crystal-clear waters. Delve into the colourful world beneath the surface snorkelling or scale Liman Hill, where you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views.
Day 12
Today you will visit Kalabahi and Alor, Indonesia. Learn about the life of the Indigenous tribal group, the Abui people, in the small village of Takpala on Alor Island before discovering picture-perfect Alor Island. Your Silversea Expedition Team are on hand to arrange a variety of aqua activities including swimming, snorkelling, Zodiac trips or cruising on a glass bottom boat.
Day 13
The next stop is Pulau Hoga, Indonesia. With its brilliant blue waters and magnificent marine life, Hoga Island is like another world. The colourful reefs in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wakatobi National Park, are teeming with life. Back on land, savour the seaside ambience during relaxing beach strolls.
Day 14
Experience the local culture on Buton Island today, visiting a bustling local market and fishing village before touring the impressive Buton Palace Fortress.
Day 15
Dock at the gateway to the land of Toraja, steeped in age-old customs and shrouded in mystery. Explore its remote landscape and fascinating culture or see the local city sights of Palopo by “becak” (three-wheeled rickshaw).
Day 16
The next day is a day at sea where you can enjoy a break from your daily adventures today, the perfect balance to exploring shoreside.
Day 17
Arrive at Komodo Island - the land of the infamous Komodo dragon, the largest lizard in the world. Marvel at their formidable size as you spot them in their natural habitat in UNESCO-listed Komodo National Park. There’s also time to relax on the island’s famous Pink Beach, so called due to the red coral flecks mixed into the white reef sand.
Day 18
Dock at Pulau Satonda, Indonesia. Known for its serene beauty and unique saltwater crater lake, Pulau Satonda is an enchanting destination. Snorkel the vibrant reefs that encircle the island or hike up the ridge to appreciate the phenomenal views. Hang a stone or coral fragment on one of the wish trees – legend says if it comes true you have to return to the island to give thanks!
Day 19 - 22
An early morning arrival in Bali brings your cruise to a close. Spend three nights relaxing at the luxurious beachfront retreat The Oberoi Beach Resort, the perfect base for lazy days or discovering the island’s spellbinding scenery and rich culture.
